The Children Need Shoes
The shoe project began in the spring of 2008. With donated money we have purchased (in India) almost 1500 pairs of shoes for the children. The cost of the shoes ranges from $7 - 20. Each donor receives a letter of thanks and picture of each child they provide with new shoes. For children who may have walked across the Himalayas from Tibet to India, this may be their first new pair of shoes.
