OTHER PROJECTS
In recent years, TTHWL has funded emergency repairs to a 28-family TCV staff quarters building that was severely damaged in flash flooding. The foundation has funded the purchase of heating devices, solar light batteries, a sound system for school events and a food trolley for an elder hostel, as well as clothing for the neediest children.
ART EXCHANGE
We exchanged art with the World Awareness Children’s Museum in Glens Falls, New York, bringing a total of 150 pieces of art by the Tibetan children to the US, and returning with the same number of drawings by American children. Certificates of participation were given to the Tibetan children in school assemblies.
